BD Full Bore Exhaust Manifolds for 2001-2008 GM Duramax |
The BD Driver's side Full Bore Exhaust Manifold for the
2001-2008 Duramax balances engine power, reduced cylinder load,
reduced exhaust gas temperature (EGT), exhaust backpressure, and
improves fuel economy. The factory manifold has a large
depression in it which causes 3 of the 4 cylinders to operate at
only 80% capacity. The BD Full Bore Manifold eliminates
this restriction, allowing the drivers side cylinder head to
match the passenger site in efficiency and performance.
The BD Full Bore Manifold is manufactured of high silicon
Ductile iron that prevents cracking from heat expansion and
vibrations. It also has a temperature port for installing a
pyrometer thermocouple. Manifold gasket is required (not
included).
