The CFM+ SmallMouth model offers a 40% increase in air flow over
your current stock intake manifold. It also offers the coolest
air to your engine due to the engineered composite material its
made from that transfers heat 900 times less than aluminum. The
opening on this model is the standard 3" diameter. This model
will bolt right on with no need to change hoses or pipes. These
SmallMouth intake manifolds come with 1 predrilled and tapped
1/8"NPT accessory port that can be used for boost gauge
connection, nitrous, propane, or water-methanol injection.

Powerstrokes have a spacer block on top of the engine air
inlet. On 2003 models this block is passive and can be
removed, on 2004 models this spacer houses a throttle plate
(butterfly valve). For "Off road use only" this spacer with
throttle plate can be removed, but will effect emissions and
throw a code. Some tuners on the market have the
ability to deactivate this code from being set.
