The CFM+ LargeMouth model offers about 100 cfm more than the
SmallMouth model. These kits come complete with new black hoses,
clamps and a custom bent steel pipe reduced on one end to fit
your stock intercooler. The opening on this model is a large
3-1/2" diameter and is made from the same material as all the
quality CFM+ intakes, which allow for the coolest flowing air as
well. These LargeMouth intake manifold kits come with 3
predrilled and tapped 1/8"NPT accessory ports that can be used
for boost gauge connections, nitrous, propane, or water-methanol
injection.

Powerstrokes have a spacer block on top of the engine air
inlet. On 2003 models this block is passive and can be
removed, on 2004 models this spacer houses a throttle plate
(butterfly valve). For "Off road use only" this spacer with
throttle plate can be removed, but will effect emissions and
throw a code. Some tuners on the market have the
ability to deactivate this code from being set.
