Because the gauges need to get
powered when the ignition key is on,
you should use a switched ignition
(keyed hot) source. A common
location is the cigarette lighter
power wire or the radio power wire.
On 2006-2007 models, this Pink wire
with Yellow trace in the “100” pin
wiring harness connector can be
used. If this wire is used you
should install the in-line fuse
assembly that comes with the ISSPRO
kit. If you use a smaller gauge
wire, like the cigarette lighter
power wire, the fuse is not
necessary. |
