TECH TIPS: Proper terminal sizes are indicated by their color.
Yellow = 12-10AWG
Blue = 18-14 AWG
Red (or Pink) = 22-18 AWG
To help prevent the wires from slipping out of the
crimped terminal, separate the strands after stripping,
and tightly twist them together. This will give the
crimp something to grab onto. After crimping, give the
wire a slight tug to make sure it does not come out.
AWG = American Wire Gauge. The larger the number, the
smaller the wire diameter.
