The Evolution Programmer is
more than just a simple flash programmer. This is
truly a smart devise. Most typical programmers on
the market simply reprogram your vehicles computer.
The Evolution is a devise that stays in the vehicle and
continually monitors your engine and other parameters.
If the Evolution detects a non-stock or damaged
calibration, you will now be instructed to connect the
unit to your home PC. The Evolution will then
automatically self-update through EDGEs powerful
Lightning software. No more calls to Tech-Support and no
more StockWriters! The Lightning software also allows
for instant, on-line updates so your Evolution is never
out of date. Just connect the unit to your PC and
instantly check for updates. There are even alternative
calibration options available such as Trans Only or
Economy programs. Just select the calibration set you
prefer and download it to your Evolution. Its that
simple. Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are easily
read and displayed with a full description right on the
Evolution display. Even better, just connect the
Evolution to your PC and the Lightning software will not
only display the stored DTCs, but it will also offer
troubleshooting tips to help resolve any problems. Once
the problems are fixed the Evolution will clear any DTCs
stored in the computer.
ADVANCED TUNING
The Evolution is capable of making Speedometer
corrections (corrects for trucks tire size) as well as
adjust the speed limiter. You can also customize
transmission parameters, including shift points and
shift pressure. This flexibility means a tailored
vehicle that meets your needs.
PERFORMANCE TESTING
Displays 0-60 and Quarter mile performance tests with
the drag strip Christmas tree lighting and reaction
times.
DATA STREAM
Records 5 parameters for up to 60 seconds and are
Viewable graphically using available software
PIDS
The Evolution allows the user to view up to 4 PIDs at
one time. There are 24 different PIDs to choose from.
