The System1 In-line Fuel
Filter is a high flow filter constructed of billet aluminum
with a red anodized finish. It features a reusable
stainless steel mesh filter element. We recommend this
filter if you are are going to do the in-tank modification
in a '99 and later Powerstroke. Some have experienced
entrained air problems with more restrictive filters,
especially in cold weather. This filter will not
release air from your fuel. This filter is also an
excellent companion if you are using an increased volume
aftermarket fuel pump for high horsepower engines. For
aftermarket fuel pump applications we recommend #10 AN
fittings.
